I still don’t know how to feel about Prime Day, but Amazon is still easily one of my favorite websites for everything under the moon. Amazon HAS to be plotting world domination by now, but let’s take advantage of it while we can so here […]
As Fall approaches, it’s easy to let yourself get stuck in the same old bad habits and turning to negative people for happiness. Personally, this Fall marks the beginning of my senior year of college which is bittersweet. I’ve been examining my own life and […]

Make a Crockpot Recipe, or two… or five!
Once Fall starts, everyone’s schedules become crazier and there’s no time for cooking healthy meals. I love using my crockpot for warm pumpkin chili or warming up some spiked apple cider! Check out my Pinterest board for some of my favorite recipes.
Diffuse Some Fall Essential Oils
Some of my favorite fall blends include; cinnamon, white fir, cardamom, orange, and nutmeg!

Donate Clothes to Your Local Shelter
Recently, I went through my clothes and donated about 3 trash bags full to my local shelter! With cold weather coming, many people are in need of warm clothes and can’t afford any. Getting rid of clothes that don’t fit or don’t suit your style anymore is also super cleansing! I feel so much better knowing those clothes will go to people who actually need them, rather than wasting away in the back of my closet. Let me know in the comments section below if you want me to do a post on how I went through my wardrobe!

Sometimes it feels like Mercury is ALWAYS in retrograde! Nothing’s going right and you just want to curl up in bed and call in sick. Communication is key in the modern world we live in, and with Mercury ruling communication everything gets a little messed […]
Traveling has brought me so many amazing experiences, and I’ve been so blessed to experience different cultures with my family. However, packing has always been my pet peeve and I’m still getting the hang of it! Packing clothes will never be my strength, but when it comes to packing skincare and makeup I’ve finally perfected my system! Take a peek into my travel skincare bag and let me know in the comments section if you’d like to see my travel makeup!
I’m currently in Saint Kitt’s and Nevis in the Caribbean and I’m off to New Orleans next! Sign up to the newsletter to keep updated on my travels to the Voodoo capital of the USA.
The Pacifica Cactus Water Face wipes have easily been my number one must have for traveling. I use the Pacifica Cactus Micellar Water when I’m not traveling, so it’s nice to have the same product in easy travel wipes. They smell amazing and there’s no need to rinse the excess off, which makes my vacation even more lazy!
Another product I have by Pacifica is the Cactus Revive Milk to Foam Face Wash. ((HACK: Go to the dollar tree and get a pack of travel sized fillable bottles and fill up your face wash, lotion, etc .)) I’m still testing this product but as of now it has a really good smell, I love the natural ingredients, but it leaves my face a little tight which I’m not a huge fan of. For humid weather the cactus face wash has been amazing at getting all the excess sweat and grime off my face, but in dry weather it might be a little too drying on the skin without moisture in the air.
Caudalie has an iconic Beauty Elixir that I’m a huge fan of! Every morning after I wash my face I spray this on and feel instantly refreshed! I love how it comes in a travel size as well, which makes it super easy to pack.
I mentioned the Glossier Priming Moisturizer in another post, and I’m still a huge fan. The packaging makes it easy to pack and the texture is super lightweight for humid weather.
Promise Organic’s Nourishing Coconut Milk Facial Lotion is an amazing drugstore moisturizer. When my skin is feeling more dry I use this instead of the Glossier moisturizer. I also tend to use this product at night to help my skin recover.
Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Concentrate is another good product to aid in overnight recovery. I have a full sized bottle at home, but Kiehl’s is very generous with samples so make sure to go into your closest store and get samples of almost anything before traveling! Kiehl’s Lip Balm #1 is another product I use at night to help rejuvenate my lips and lock the moisture in for the next day.
Drunk Elephant is a brand I’ve been testing and I’m very pleased so far! The T.L.C. Framboos Glycolic Night Serum is so necessary for my skin type! I’m combination, so I like to use Glycolic acid to really help target my oily zones and prevent blackheads and acne. The Virgin Marula Luxury Facial Oil is a really good moisturizer and I basically use it like a serum! When I’m not using makeup that day, I apply a pump or two to my entire face before moisturizer. I love the glow it gives my skin, and I’ve noticed my skin isn’t as red and irritated by the end of the day. These products both came in travel sizes at Sephora which is amazing!
Using a face mask on vacation is really luxurious and spa vibes for me. I packed a travel size of the Peter Thomas Roth Cucumber Gel Mask which I rally have been loving for summer! After washing my face in the morning I’ll let this mask chill on my face while I drink my coffee and lounge around in the hotel room.
Not included in the picture, because I’m an unorganized rat sometimes, is the Pacifica Suncare Coconut Probiotic Mineral Sunscreen Face Stick SPF 50. I use this everyday and love how it smells like oatmeal! It’s really great for swimming or any other vacation activity because it’s waterproof. The stick formula is nice because it’s really easy to bring with you in your backpack or purse while exploring a new city.
Having beautiful, healthy skin is always in. Products that have lightweight formulas are always the best in my opinion because they tend to not cake throughout the day. Brands like Glossier and Milk Makeup have really brought back that naturally glowy look that I […]
Daily draw readings are my favorite type of spread. Depending on the question you want answers to, there are a number of different types of spreads that specialize with each type of question. Here’s my version of a daily spread that I find very fun and inspiring if nothing more!
Shuffle your deck thinking about love and positivity! Place your deck somewhere in your room like a nightstand or dresser, preferably where no one will mess with it! Find one of your favorite items like a necklace, ring, coin, etc. Make sure your the only one to have worn that item or owned that item, and make sure it’s something you love (I use a moon necklace). Place that item on top of the deck to absorb positive energy in between readings. Every morning before you leave the house draw the first card and that will guide your day! Keep placing the old cards underneath the deck and draw a new card everyday!
I ended up really liking how these daily readings would start my day with an interesting twist. Even the negative cards reminded me of something, for example not to trust perfect strangers or make sure to not be prideful. Try it out and let me know in the comments section below how the daily readings went for you!
A Few Favorite Tarot Decks
For those that like more simple or minimalist decks, The Dark Exact Tarot Deck is perfect for you!
My sister’s favorite deck is called the Shaman Tarot Deck. If you’re looking for something a little more colorful and special, this deck is really beautifully designed!
If you’re a beginner, or are lazy like I am, the Quick & Easy Tarot Deck would be the best fit for you! I use this deck personally, and love that the meanings of each card no matter forwards or reversed are printed right on the cards! Using this type of deck would be ideal for your daily draw because you won’t need to look up the meanings of each card as a beginner!

Skincare is my NUMBER ONE obsession. I’m always testing new products (Korres Greek Yogurt Cleanser shown in the picture is being tested currently!), reading product reviews, and browsing to see what new products are on the market. However, no matter what havoc I wreak on […]
