Having beautiful, healthy skin is always in. Products that have lightweight formulas are always the best in my opinion because they tend to not cake throughout the day. Brands like Glossier and Milk Makeup have really brought back that naturally glowy look that I love for everyday glam.
Glossier Priming Moisturizer
I’ve just started using the Glossier Priming Moisturizer and I’ve really enjoyed how it blends right into my skin. Hydrating and priming the skin are two of the product’s main claims, and it doesn’t disappoint! I only have to use a pea sized amount to completely cover my skin, which is great because it’ll last longer. The priming moisturizer is the first Glossier product I’ve tried, and I’m very surprised by how much I like it. With Glossier’s numerous advertisements and rep program I was beginning to get a little skeptical on how well this brand performs. However, I’m definitely going to be purchasing more products from them soon because this moisturizer lives up to the hype.
Milk Makeup Blur Liquid Matte Foundation
Milk Makeup has a new Blur Liquid Matte Foundation I recently tried as well. Both Glossier and Milk Makeup have a “less is more” mentality when it comes to their products, which is what I personally like! The instructions on the foundation stated to put 2-3 drops on the center of your face and blend it out, again I was skeptical. However, I had complete coverage right away and no sticky feeling! The foundation has a liquid consistency which blended out so smoothly without any streaks, even with using a brush!
For this everyday glowy skin vibes look, I start with the Glossier Priming Moisturizer and let it soak in for a couple of minutes. Then, with my fingers I dab on a couple drops of the Milk Makeup Blur Liquid Matte Foundation on the center of my face and blend it out with a brush. Finally, I used the Makeup Revolution Strobe Balm Palette and dabbed on the coolest shade with my fingers on my cheekbones, bridge of my nose, over my brows, and chin!
